Half Day City Tour (including Table Mountain)

The City of Cape Town

Take a leisurely drive around Cape Town to take in the sights, sounds and cultures of this cosmopolitan city - reliving some of the rich and tumultuous history that has shaped South Africa over the centuries in as little as half a day.

Visit the Bo-Kaap, a multicultural suburb known for its brightly painted houses with many residents descendants of slaves brought here by the early Dutch settlers. View the Castle of Good Hope before driving through District Six - feeling one of the most acute hardships of Apartheid, where 60,000 non-whites were forcibly removed and their houses demolished. For a true feel for the City streets we'll take you through Cape Town on foot - to the Company Gardens, Long Street and Greenmarket Square where you can browse traditional African arts and crafts on sale in the market.

Of course, no visit to Cape Town is complete without a trip to iconic Table Mountain. Include a ride in the modern cable-car to the top and marvel at the spectacular views from the City skyline right across the Cape peninsula.
